Currency conversion is a new feature available on the Radford Network that allows clients to apply a "Preferred Currency" to reports created using the Data Generator Tools. The default setting is in the "Local Currency".
To get started, click on settings in the upper right corner after logging onto the Radford Network:
Next, select Currency Conversion from the ribbon on the left-hand side of the page:
In the classic version of the Radford Network, click on settings in the upper right corner:
Next, select currency from the teal ribbon:
This will take you to the Currency Settings page. Use the pick list to set your preferred currency:
After setting your preferred currency you will be able to toggle between Default(Local)/Preferred from the settings page:
Best Practice: Please set your currency prior to looking for a job code in Quick Benchmarks or running a report from Market Queries or Country Totals. You will see if currency conversion has been applied when using Quick Benchmarks or as part of your output.
You will see currency setting is applied when working in Quick Benchmarks. Notice in the image below that the United States is the country selected but the currency is being reported in Yuan Renminbi:
In the output, you see if currency conversion has been applied on the Compensation Data tab when you look underneath the header and at the monetary unit. For Quick Benchmarks and Country Totals you will also see a difference in the Country/Region column and Monetary Unit.
The following screen shot displays currency conversion being applied to a Quick Benchmark
Remember, currency conversion will continue to be applied to your data until you choose to toggle Off under settings.
