Talent Intelligence is a subscription-based product that uses machine learning and artificial intelligence to predict pay for locations and/or jobs where survey data is limited or unavailable. Aon's "Pay Inference" engine learns from all the different relationships between roles, locations, levels, and pay in the Radford Global Compensation Database to predict compensation, providing a backstop for companies with more specialized positions or locations in emerging markets.
To get started, users navigate to the Insights tab and select "Talent Intelligence".
From the classic Radford Network you can find Talent Intelligence in the Analytics tab.
Click on the name and Talent Intelligence will be opened in a separate window.
Once in that window, enter a job under "Job Title". Similar to the Job Matrix, Talent Intelligence uses a smart search feature to identify many different potential job matches. Users can enter a job code, a job title, or a keyword from a job description, and a list of potential matches to select from will appear:
Once a job is selected, users then select a location. They can choose a country, state, or city:
After choosing an initial job and location, users click "Predict Pay". The tool will show the different pay levels for the selected category (Support/Technical/Professional/Management/Executive):
To change the given Category, select the drop-down arrow under "Job Category":
To change the highlighted level, use the slider below the Job Category box:
To change the compensation type, first click the pencil icon next to "Compensation Type", then choose from one of the three offered types: "Salary", "Equity", or "Total Direct Compensation"
The tool will offer up "Related Jobs" and "Related Locations". Users can see what the median pay is for these roles or locations based on the current category and levels selected. If the user changes the level or category, the amounts shown in this area will update based on the new selections.
To change to an suggested job or location, simply click on that link, and the tool will then update the dashboard.
To download a copy of the salary information, click on the "Copy Predictions" button. The tool will copy the information to a user's clipboard, which can be pasted into a workbook.
Users can refine their selection by using the available filters in the upper left-hand corner. The filter options are "Industry", "Company Headcount", and "Company Revenue".
