The Talent Mobility tool provides insights into the mobility of incumbents at companies that submit data to the RGCD. This tool can provide insights into what "normal" turnover is for a given job category or function, what a typical promotion rate is for a job category/function, how many new incumbents are hired, or how many lateral transfers can be expected in an organization.
The tool’s first card- “Summary Talent Mobility Rates” displays four different mobility metrics: Turnover Rate, New Hire Rate, Promotion Rate, and Lateral Transfer. The card shows the Market Distribution for each metric, and users can get more information by clicking the "View Details" link under each metric:
Once a link is clicked, the tool displays a new card with summary data about that metric:
Below the summary card is a "Distribution" card that allows users to see that metric broken out into Market Distribution graphs by either Job Function:
Or by Job Level:
If a user selects Job level, they can break the information down further by selecting the dropdown arrow at the end of the category row:
This will break out that category by level:
Users can look at different metrics by clicking on the pencil or the chosen metric:
When they do so, they simply click the radio button by the metric they would like to see, and that metric is displayed:
On the left-hand side of the page are the tool’s filters, which allow users to filter data five ways:
- Location
- Job Function
- Job Level
- Industry
- Headcount
To select an item, click the "+ Add Filters" under a particular filter.
Users can select multiple choices for each filter. Once the "Back to All" is clicked, the tool will display which items have been selected.
Please note that the current Workforce Metrics program will be retired in early 2024. If you have any questions about this tool or need additional help, please reach out to us by submitting a support ticket by clicking on "Create A Case" under the Help section of the new enhanced network.
