Organizational Design: Methodology and Calculations

The Organization Design offering provides a number of different metrics to users who want to know about the generalized structure of an organization. These metrics are based solely on data from the RGCD, and when used in conjunction with the available filters, allow users to benchmark their organization against companies of similar size or industry.

Organizational Design data is pulled from full census submissions to the RGCD- no other data sources are used.

Note that that top card on the Org Design tool shows individuals, where the Market Stratification graphs below it are showing organizations and the percentage that a given job level or job function makes up of an organization.
