The map in Location Analytics can be used to explore and compare compensation across locations.
It highlights two key data points for each location:
- Talent availability: the size of the bubble indicates the employee count in a location for the selected filters.
- Cost/geo differential: The color of the bubble indicates the cost of a location relative to the selected anchor (in the example above, the United States has been selected as the anchor). To change your reference point, simply click the icon next to United States above.
Users can click on a bubble for additional information. The pop-up window allows users to drill into Micro-regions or to add a location to their selected location list.
Smart Differentials: Where there is limited or no data available for a location, the Smart Differentials icon will indicate if Smart Differentials are available.
The countries a user has access to in Location Analytics will reflect your RGCD subscription. Where users have not subscribed to a country's data, the differential will be unavailable. However, users can still explore available data in a location:
